Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: United Insurance Company (UIC) posted losses of AED 1.64 million for the second quarter of 2017 against profits of AED 2.18 million in the same period last year, according to a bourse filing.

The financial statements of the company also showed an increase in losses for the first half of the year by 75.8% to AED 4.87 million, up from AED 2.77 million for H1-16, UIC said in a statement to the Abu Securities Exchange (ADX) on Tuesday.
